As part of our “Festival at The Fort” celebrations we invited designs from the children and young people of Gosport, using their surroundings as inspiration, to create a flag that celebrates what they loved about the place that they live.
Selected submissions will became flags and were displayed during community celebrations around the site of Fort Brockhurst.
Take a look at some of the submissions and final designs below and in GCEP Exhibition in The Keep
How was the project designed?
GCEP worked with St Vincent students to create their own flag submissions.
They also took on a live brief to design and create the materials to share with other young people; to teach and inform them how to take part in the project.
We received over 100 submissions to the project.
